MRL LAUNCHER INSTALLATION IN NATAL
During last October, a team from LUNUS move to Natal where it was done the medium size rocket launcher (MRL) installation. This launcher was token from CLBI last February for a retrofit process executed in em São José dos Campos. It was rebuild in terms of its structure, its azimuth and elevation drive systems have been substituted as well as the spindle and its accessories.The substituted material is more modern then the previous one and this required adaptations in the mechanical and electrical interfaces. After finishing the retrofit, the system was brought back to CLBI where Lunus team accomplished its installation and testing within the schedule and contractual conditions(Oct/2009).
