CyanowatchTM On-line Fluorometer
Technical Characteristics:

With Cyanowatch
TM you are able to track changes in the cyanobacteria population over time that can provide an early warning of algal blooms of potentially toxic species

Cyanowatch
TM continually senses the concentration of either phycocyanin or phycoerythrin (two accessory pigments unique to cyanobacteria). The phycocyanin version of Cyanowatch™ is for freshwater applications, and the phycoerythrin unit is for use in marine waters

Cyanowatch
TM has a Serial Data Port and its own Internal Data Logger so it can monitor and store data in a standalone mode. The data can be downloaded to a PC using the provided cyanowatch software
Benefits:

Detect the onset of blue-green algae

Eliminate or decrease frequency of cell counting

Collect data on algal community dynamics

Make more effective use of treatment chemicals

Detect the presence of taste and odor causing species

Improve filter run times
